CoreLife Eatery Brings on Steven Corp to Bolster National Franchising Efforts

Active Lifestyle Restaurant Secures Proven Franchise Sales Professional to Promote Rapid Expansion

August 04, 2017 // Franchising.com // CoreLife Eatery has announced that Steven Corp, a seasoned franchise sales professional, has been named as Senior Vice President of Franchise Development. In the two short years since CoreLife Eatery opened the doors of its first location in Syracuse, New York, the concept has exploded onto the restaurant scene. The company now has restaurants in New York, Ohio, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Illinois and Utah and is opening its seventeenth location next week in Lexington, Kentucky. CoreLife Eatery has an aggressive national growth plan in place that features both corporate and franchise restaurants.

Corp comes to CoreLife Eatery with two decades of experience in franchise sales and development, and an outstanding record of growing fast-casual brands. Corp spent 15 years with Focus Brands, expanding the national presence of big-name brands such as Moe’s Southwest Grill, Schlotzsky’s, Auntie Anne’s, Cinnabon and more. His primary focuses were developing successful business plans to exceed territory potential for franchise sales, facilitating sales growth through strong client relationships, and cultivating and managing successful sales teams. In 2015, Corp and his team signed 289 traditional deals and collected $6.6 million in new deal fees.

“We intend to open 60 stores per year over the next five years, and it’s critical that we have a top-notch team in place to foster that type of growth,” Larry Wilson, CEO of CoreLife Eatery, said. “We need a proven professional like Steven Corp, who understands the importance of fostering rapid expansion without sacrificing quality. We’re thrilled to have him on board.”

CoreLife Eatery offers a wide variety of fresh ingredients that are transformed into custom-created dishes. All foods are free of trans fats, artificial colors, sweeteners, other artificial additives and GMO’s. The chicken and steak used are sustainably raised and never given antibiotics or hormones, and the bone broth is slow simmered all day for maximum taste and nutrition. Creating a menu that tastes great because it’s healthy is the secret to CoreLife Eatery’s success.

“CoreLife Eatery is a unique and refreshing concept with limitless possibilities for success and growth,” Corp said. “I’m thrilled to be able to utilize my leadership and experience to ensure further advancement of the nation’s next leading brand.”

The brand just recently began franchising with plans to significantly expand the number of communities they can serve powerful and healthy options to every day. For more information on franchising opportunities, please visit www.corelifeeatery.com/franchising.
