Pirtek Again Returns As Sponsor Of Signature Snocross Race In Minnesota

Franchise Owner Again Helps Support High-performance Snowmobile Team

December 18, 2017 // Franchising.com // Plymouth and Midway, Minnesota - The snowmobile racers will be revving their engines for the big event: the Pirtek Snocross National Presented by Jimmy John's in Shakopee, MN. Pirtek, the leader in fluid transfer solutions, is again sponsoring the high-performance snowmobile race, which is scheduled for Jan. 5-6 at Canterbury Park. The event is part of the AMSOIL Championship Snocross Series, of which Pirtek is a corporate sponsor.

“As always, we’re looking forward to the big event with great anticipation,” said Craig Heitkamp, owner of Pirtek franchises in Plymouth and Midway, MN. “This race is a real fan-pleaser here in Minnesota and we consider it a great privilege having a hand in it.”

In addition to Pirtek’s sponsorship of the entire series and of the signature event in Shakopee, Heitkamp is a yearly sponsor of the Hentges racing team that participates in the competition. The team drivers are Kody Kamm and Petter Narsa, who have both enjoyed success in the sport. Kamm placed first in last year’s series finale.

A high-adrenaline sport, Snocross is like motocross with snowmobiles competing in the place of motorcycles. It involves air jumps and intense action around banked tracks. The groomer and the Hentges team snowmobiles will display the Pirtek branding.
