Iron Tribe Fitness Signs Development Agreements for Four Gyms in West Central Florida

Alabama-based fitness franchise to open first of the four gyms in the Tampa area

July 19, 2023 // Franchising.com // BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Iron Tribe Fitness recently signed two separate agreements for the development of four gyms across West Central Florida.

The first of those gyms is planned for the Tampa area, and will be owned and operated by Allie Herrera, a local fitness enthusiast who previously worked as both a coach and general manager at two Iron Tribe Fitness locations in Tennessee.

"Given the local prioritization of self-care, mental and spiritual wellness and staying active, Tampa is a clear choice for this wave of Florida expansion,” said Iron Tribe Fitness founder and CEO Forrest Walden. “Tampa is frequently named one of the healthiest places to live, and we can’t wait to become a new and unique way for locals to reach their health and fitness goals.”

Iron Tribe Fitness offers two workout options to help clients of all experience levels reach their goals with a completely personal approach. The first is a 45-minute functional training group class that is limited to 16 participants, taught by at least one highly trained coach, and changes each day. The second is hands-on, semi-private training (5-person sessions) that customizes every aspect of one’s fitness and nutrition journey.

Both offerings are aimed at taking one’s strength, conditioning, and skill to the next level.

“When you take a class at Iron Tribe, you don’t get the option to slack off. Like athletic training, you get accountability from trainers and strangers who can become friends,” said Herrera. “Classes are for anyone at any level, and the real competition is with yourself.”
