New Location Opening on August 24 in Santa Monica

August 23, 2023 // Franchising.com // SANTA MONICA, CA - Prepare to indulge as Handel's Homemade Ice Cream opens a new location in Santa Monica! Discover the latest Scoop Shop at 1701 Ocean Park Boulevard, Santa Monica, California 90405. The world's #1 ice cream brand according to National Geographic is hosting a Grand Opening event on August 24th from 11am to 10pm.

For the Grand Opening, the first 50 people in line will receive a free small ice cream cone or dish weekly for a year.

“What motivated me to get involved with the Handel’s brand is, first and foremost, the ice cream, said General Manager Peg Hale. Once you try it, you know instantly it’s the best. Also, the Handel’s team is wonderful to work with, and they make us feel like we are part of a family.” “When I first tried Handel’s, I knew it was special and I was excited to be involved with the brand and in helping build our store.

A long-time Santa Monica local, Peg knows and loves the city, a worldwide destination. The Ocean Park neighborhood is the perfect fit for the newest Handel’s location.

The Santa Monica Handel’s will feature 48 flavors, made fresh daily and chosen monthly from a larger selection of 150. Just a few of the unique flavors that will be featured at this location for the Grand Opening are Peach, Blue Monster (just try it, you’ll love it), Chocolate Pecan, Monkey Business, Graham Central Station, Oree-Dough, Black Cherry, Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie, and Birthday Cake. This location will offer pickup, delivery, and – soon to come – catering options.

The Ocean Park Handel’s store will be open daily from 11 am to 10 pm.
