Ninja Nation Mobile Arena Opens in Nashville

Youth sports entertainment concept’s mobile obstacle course now available for fairs, events, and family fun in the Music City

September 12, 2023 // Franchising.com // NASHVILLE, TN. - Ninja Nation is now offering their mobile obstacle course in Nashville. The mobile arena is owned by local entrepreneurs Tara and Ryan Kinney, and presents a unique opportunity for the Nashville community to enjoy the sport of Ninja.

Ninja Nation Mobile is the ultimate mobile Ninja obstacle course. It is quick to set up and take down and is an incredible addition to any event, fair, festival, or public/family gathering. Fun for all ages with tons of adaptability and customization for indoor or outdoor events, the mobile unit offers the community access to a new and engaging way to connect and have fun, all while staying active.

Ryan and Tara Kinney, both having worked in their current corporate fields for the past two decades, decided to open a Ninja Nation to give back and get involved in their community. The duo are passionate health and wellness enthusiasts who both participated in CrossFit together. They found they loved the competition and community aspect of CrossFit, and quickly fell in love with the similar qualities of Ninja Nation. As parents themselves, the brand appealed to the couple as a new way to help children get active, presenting a unique activity that will appeal to all. The Kinneys plan to partner with fairs, churches, schools, fundraisers, family events, and charities to introduce Nashville to the sport of Ninja.

“Our goal with Ninja Nation is to impact as many lives in our community as possible,” said Ryan. “Having recently moved to the area a few years ago, we wanted to involve ourselves in Nashville through an engaging and healthy activity that members of the area can truly become a part of. We recently held our first event, and it was extremely impactful to see how much the local children loved the mobile obstacle course. The sport of Ninja is something everyone can do, not just those who enjoy participating in traditional sports.”

“Nashville has seen a lot of people moving in as more corporations begin to station in Nashville,” said Tara. “We saw a large gap in the market for a gym of this kind. Ninja Nation is uniquely positioned to offer Nashville newcomers and locals alike a place to connect with each other in the community, stay active, and just have fun.”

The youth fitness concept’s goal is to create over 1 million heroes with their on-going mission to provide a fun, safe, and engaging space where everyone can find that “hero” within themselves. To accomplish this, Ninja Nation focuses on their core values of engagement, encouragement, and energy in the facility at all times. Ninja Nation uses their state-of-the-art obstacle course arena to teach kids by improving their physical health, along with focusing on the importance of moving their bodies and staying active. The brand prides itself on building a community within their facility by focusing on a culture of positivity, encouragement, goal setting, and building confidence.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Ryan and Tara to bring Ninja Nation’s services to Nashville,” said Wayne Cavanaugh, founder of Ninja Nation. “The Kinneys are passionate about our mission to create 1 million heroes, and we are confident that they are the perfect partners to help lead the expansion into the city and implement the community of Ninja Nation into Tennessee.”
