North East Chicago-Based SYNERGY HomeCare Company Under New Leadership

September 29, 2023 // Franchising.com // Tempe, Ariz. - SYNERGY HomeCare is proud to announce the new ownership of one of its Chicago-based franchises, SYNERGY HomeCare of North East Chicago.

The company has been a provider of local in-home care for residents of Lincoln Park, Hyde Park, Logan Square, Lakeview, Wicker Park, and surrounding Northeast Chicago communities for the past seven years. As of today, the company will continue to do so under the new management of husband-and-wife team, Raisul and Sarah Chowdhury.

Both Raisul and Sarah hold master’s degrees in Business Administration, providing the duo with extensive knowledge of how to successfully run a business. Raisul brings with him a dynamic and operationally focused perspective, drawing upon his substantial management experience as a business owner. His leadership style specifically promotes growth within the highly competitive Greater Chicago market. Sarah comes from a background in healthcare data analytics which has provided her with plenty of knowledge on the current trends of the industry, in addition to her natural sense of compassion and unwavering customer-centric mindset.

The Chowdhurys take pride in helping families in need and getting the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives. The prospect of doing so on a large-scale in their community is what inspired the duo to start their journey in home care. They were specifically attracted to SYNERGY HomeCare as they saw the franchise’s rapid growth and network support aligned with their business-centric mindset, as well as their passion for helping others.

Headquartered at 1802 W. Berteau Ave., Suite 202, in Chicago, IL., SYNERGY HomeCare of North East Chicago provides a wide range of non-medical care options for people of all ages and abilities, from companion care and personal assistance, to specialized care for people living with chronic health conditions or recovering from illness or surgery. Chicago is home to numerous world-class hospitals and rehabilitation centers, allowing for a large client referral network.

Raisul and Sarah saw the growing need in the community for these services, particularly amongst Baby Boomers. U.S. Census statistics show that 10,000 Baby Boomers are turning 65 every day and that by 2030, there will be more than 70 million people over the age of 65. According to the AARP, over 90% of this demographic reports they want to remain in their own home for as long as possible.

“Our company philosophy is centered around fostering a culture of care,” says Sarah. “We believe that our business as a whole will substantially stand out from the crowd if we establish a work environment that feels more like a family than a business. One where every team member cares about not only their clients, but also the people working next to them.e’re all in this to pursue the same goals and objectives.”

The Chowdhury’s are also active and dedicated members of the Bengali Association of Greater Chicago (BAGC), which champions community outreach programs focused on health awareness, health education, and group counseling. Through a variety of initiatives, including workshops and health fairs, they work diligently to serve and engage with the South East Asian community in the Greater Chicago area, further emphasizing their belief in creating a culture of compassion and support.
