School of Rock Perrysburg is Ready to Rock N’ Roll

October 13, 2023 // Franchising.com // PERRYSBURG, Ohio – School of Rock will be celebrating the opening of its school in Perrysburg, Ohio, with an event taking place at 3185 Chappel Drive on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 1:30 pm to 3 pm. Along with live performances, the event will offer a raffle and tours of the school.

School of Rock Perrysburg is owned by Ron Rothenbuhler, who was born and raised in the area. Despite venturing out, Ron always felt the pull to return to his roots in Perrysburg. He had long harbored a dream of opening a business in his beloved hometown. The journey began when Ron enrolled his daughter at School of Rock in Ann Arbor. Witnessing his daughter's captivating performance on stage, Ron was instantly drawn to School of Rock’s unique curriculum, vibrant community, and mission to enriching lives through performance-based music education.

“Music has always been a channel that allows me to connect to a larger community. I feel a sense of belonging and relate to others who share similar or even differing musical tastes,” said Rothenbuhler. "At School of Rock, we don’t teach music to put on shows, we put on shows to teach music.”

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.
