School of Rock Dallas is Ready to Rock N’ Roll

October 20, 2023 // Franchising.com // DALLAS – School of Rock will be celebrating the opening of its school in Dallas with an event taking place at 5400 E Mockingbird Ln., Suite 218. on Sunday, Oct. 22, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The event will offer live performances, a trunk-or-treat, pumpkin decorating and costume contest.

School of Rock Dallas is run by General Manager Tracy Campos. Growing up in Dallas, Campos's passion for music began as a kid listening to classic rock with her parents on the way to her soccer games. Her love for music has remained unwavering over the years, as is evident by her collection of records and cassette tapes and her frequent attendance at rock shows throughout the metroplex.

Campos has recently earned her degree in Interdisciplinary Art and Design Studies at the University of North Texas. She aspires to leverage her creative talents to support and enhance the initiatives at School of Rock Dallas, all while nurturing a vibrant and passionate community.

"Music has always been my compass, guiding me through life's journey," said Tracy. “I strongly believe that music allows us to not only teach our students to be great musicians but also to share important life lessons that will help them achieve their goals."

School of Rock Dallas location has seen significant improvements since its early days in a garage near the train tracks. It now resides in a modern facility with ample parking, located in a vibrant shopping area. These upgrades have created a more comfortable and enriching learning environment for students.

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.

"Tracy is passionate about her community and providing opportunities for students to further their music education,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock. “We are delighted to have her lead our new location, with its majorly upgraded facilities and gear and eagerly anticipate the positive impact she will have on her students.”
