Youth Enrichment Brands Acquires School of Rock

October 24, 2023 // Franchising.com // Youth Enrichment Brands (YEB) announced today that it has acquired School of Rock.

Backed by the Atlanta-based Roark Capital, YEB is a youth activities platform. With School of Rock, YEB is adding music education to the youth camps, sports leagues, and swim instruction its platform currently offers. School of Rock has taught hundreds of thousands of students around the world to play music through its patented School of Rock Method.

“We’re thrilled to add School of Rock to our Youth Enrichment Brands platform,” said Justin Hoeveler, CEO of Youth Enrichment Brands. “School of Rock fits seamlessly with our other category-defining brands. Rob Price, the leadership team, and the company’s dedicated franchisees have built a business that will greatly contribute to our mission of helping every kid discover and develop lifelong passions.”

With its strong history of serving franchisors, YEB is well-positioned to support School of Rock.

YEB now connects and supports a network that includes School of Rock, i9 Sports, Streamline Brands, and US Sports Camps, the official provider of Nike Sports Camps. The YEB network now serves more than 950,000 kids annually.
