Goldfish Swim School Celebrates at Annual Owners’ Celebration

October 25, 2023 // Franchising.com // TROY, Mich. - Goldfish Swim School Franchising, LLC celebrated another year of “fin-pressive” accomplishments at its 2023 Owners’ Celebration.

The event, which took place earlier this month in South Carolina, celebrated the franchise system’s top franchisees and schools and recent brand accomplishments while providing an opportunity for owners to connect with each other, vendor partners and the Franchise Team. 

During the celebration, co-founder and CEO Chris McCuiston and President Andrew McCuiston presented “School of the Year” and “Rookie of the Year” awards. These values include Going Above and Beyond to Create a Golden Experience; Providing WOW! Customer Service; Treating People With Integrity, Compassion and Trust; Meeting & Exceeding Expectations So You See Extraordinary Results; and Remembering to Celebrate.

This year, Goldfish Swim School – Livingston, under the direction of Larisa and Jeffrey Posner, was awarded School of the Year for its exceptional commitment to upholding the Goldfish Swim School core values. From providing a Golden Experience for each team member and student to being active within their community, the Posners are exemplary franchisees, sharing insights and lessons with other members of the Goldfish Family. Additionally, the school’s relentless focus on comprehensive training across all aspects of its business, combined with its dedication to maintaining the highest standards, has allowed it to consistently deliver the highest quality swim lessons.

Goldfish Swim School – North Attleboro, led by Eric Schwab and John Higgins, secured the Rookie of the Year award, which celebrates a school that is new to the system but has already made a big splash within its community. Schwab and Higgins have built and trained an exceptional team of teachers and team members who continue to build students’ confidence in the water each and every day. They have developed strong relationships with other community organizations and established themselves as water safety experts in the area. They also jumped feet first into the Goldfish franchise community, volunteering on several committees and task forces. 

These two awards build on the Core Value Award winners, which were recognized in August at the School Leadership Summit:
