School of Rock NW Las Vegas is Ready to Rock N’ Roll

October 30, 2023 // Franchising.com // LAS VEGAS, Nev. - School of Rock will be celebrating the opening of its school in NW Las Vegas, Nevada at 5770 Centennial Center Blvd. Suite 110.

School of Rock NW Las Vegas is owned by Alice Chen, who discovered her love of music education and rock music at a young age. During a difficult period in her life, Chen enrolled at School of Rock as an adult student and pushed herself out of her comfort zone by enrolling in the Adult Performance program. The experience was transformative. She discovered that her values aligned with the school's core values, which fueled her desire to use music education to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Chen saw an opportunity and decided to open her own School of Rock in Northwest Las Vegas.

"As a lifelong music enthusiast, my journey at School of Rock ignited a profound desire to enrich the lives of others," said Chen. "At School of Rock, we wholeheartedly embrace individuals from all walks of life, fostering kindness within our institution and the broader community. Music holds the remarkable power to connect us all, and our dedicated leadership team is committed to leaving a positive mark on each student's life. Through this new venture as a business owner, I aim to share the gift of music, inspire, and bring joy to those who choose to be a part of the School of Rock family."

School of Rock provides students of all ages an exciting and engaging music lesson experience, which includes bass lessons, guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons and piano lessons. Drawing from all styles of rock and roll, School of Rock students learn theory and techniques via songs from legendary artists such as Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz and Led Zeppelin. Thanks to the school’s performance-based approach, students around the world have gained superior musical proficiency, with some moving on to record deals and larger platforms such as American Idol, The Voice and Broadway.

“Alice embodies the kind of leader we look for to lead a School of Rock franchise,” said Rob Price, CEO of School of Rock. “Much like her own experiences at School of Rock, where she found a safe and encouraging space, she is now devoted to offering that same level of support and care to her students. I have full confidence in her capabilities to lead and cultivate a thriving community at the new NW Las Vegas School of Rock location.”
