Metal Supermarkets Announces 2023 Winners of Metal My Way Contest

November 17, 2023 // Franchising.com // Toronto, Ontario – Metal Supermarkets has announced the six winners of its annual Metal My Way contest. Showcasing the versatility and craftsmanship of metal-working, fabricating and design, the Metal My Way competition is an international photo and video submission contest that invites entrants to submit projects where they have transformed ordinary metal into inventive creations, innovative tools or works of art.

This year’s Metal My Way contest received over 870 international submissions, from the United States to the United Kingdom to Canada. Winning entries ranged from a majestic blue heron adorned with over 1,200 individually made metal feathers to a scratch-built airsoft combat vehicle.

Both professional and amateur metalworkers alike were invited to submit a photo or video of their innovative metal-made projects for the opportunity to win amazing prizes, including the Grand Prize (Milwaukee Tool 13 Amp 1-5/8-inch Electromagnetic Drill Kit) or five secondary prizes (Husky Standard-Duty 26-inch W 6-Drawer Tool Storage Chest and Rolling Cabinet Combo). Winning submissions were chosen based on criteria such as complexity, detail, intricacy, uniqueness, creativity, craftsmanship, quantity of metal used and ingenuity.
