SYNERGY HomeCare Expands Its Presence in Massachusetts

January 22, 2024 // Franchising.com // Tempe, Ariz. - SYNERGY HomeCare has announced its newest franchise in southern Massachusetts, SYNERGY HomeCare of Mendon.

The company is led by Michael Botelho, a purpose-driven businessman and Navy veteran who strives to develop a strong care network in his community.

Headquartered at 31 Hastings St, Ste. 6BB in Mendon, Mass., the company assists residents with a wide variety of non-medical care options, from companion care to personal care and respite care.

Botelho recognizes the growing need in nearby communities for these services, particularly among Baby Boomers.

Botelho graduated from Rhode Island College with a bachelor’s degree in History and later continued his education at Cambridge College for a master’s degree in Business Ethics and Compliance.

After his service in the U.S. Navy, Botelho spent more than 10 years working in mortgage banking. Through his experience, he nurtured his business development, leadership, and customer service skills, which he will leverage in his new endeavor as a home care business owner.

Many of these clients rely on caregivers for assistance with cooking, shopping, running errands, doing light housekeeping, or going for walks. Some require personal care, such as help with bathing, dressing, or using the toilet.
