Chem-Dry Opens New Location in Florida

January 24, 2024 // Franchising.com // FLORIDA - Chem-Dry is opening a new Florida location in Orlando, Florida. The carpet cleaning service is backed by BELFOR Franchise Group.

The location opened in November, and is owned and operated by Juliana Pulecio. Pulecio has over 20 years of experience in the technology industry, and has a background in journalism and public relations. Pulecio is originally from Colombia, and moved to Orlando, Florida, to start her business. In her free time, Pulecio enjoys spending time with her kids and working in PR.

“As a PR professional and a mother who knows the importance of keeping a clean household all too well, I was inspired to go into business with a reputable home cleaning brand,” said Juliana Pulecio, owner of Prime Chem-Dry. “Since a home’s cleanliness begins with its rugs and carpets, my choice to franchise with Chem-Dry was a fairly simple one. Chem-Dry is such a widely known and respected brand, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision to franchise with them. As I continue to establish Prime Chem-Dry as a carpet cleaning partner homeowners can rely on, I look forward to continuing to build relationships with home and property owners, and offering the brand’s eco-friendly cleaning services across my community.”

Chem-Dry harnesses the natural cleaning power of carbonation to deeply clean carpets without soapy detergents. This process, known as Hot Carbonating Extraction (HCE), uses about 80% less water than traditional steam cleaning. This unique approach to carpet cleaning results in a deep clean with faster drying times.

Ed Quinlan, President of Chem-Dry, is committed to upholding the company’s unique standing within the carpet cleaning industry: “The entire Chem-Dry team can’t wait to see all the great work Juliana will accomplish within her community.”

Chem-Dry uses an innovative process known as Hot Carbonating Extraction (HCE) to deeply clean carpets using a fraction of the water required for steam cleaning. What began as a simple trick for removing stains from clothing while on the go would define the company’s HCE process and change the industry forever as an alternative to traditional steam cleaning.
