Dill Dinkers™ Expands with 10-Unit Regional Development Deal for Northern Virginia

January 25, 2024 // Franchising.com // COLUMBIA, MD - Dill Dinkers Pickleball announced today its ninth regional developer who has committed to the development of 10 locations throughout Northern Virginia including Loudoun, Northwest of Fairfax, Central Prince William County, and the city of Manassas with the first location set to open this April 2024.

Spearheading the locations in Northern Virginia is the husband-and-wife team, Andriana and Richard Solano, who are driven by their love for sports, fun, safe camaraderie, and community. As avid pickleball players themselves, they recognize the sport's impact on the lives of others by promoting an active lifestyle and through human connection. After visiting Dill Dinkers' flagship location in Columbia, Maryland, the inclusive community and professionalism of the indoor courts left a lasting impression on the Solanos and what the founders have built.

"We chose Dill Dinkers because it was more than just a business venture. We knew that we wanted to join in on the craze of pickleball,” said Andriana. “We value the community aspect and hope to allow others a place to build meaningful connections and enjoy the sport.”

Motivated by a desire to introduce state-of-the-art indoor pickleball facilities to the residents in Northern Virginia the Solanos are well-equipped to take on the role of regional developers.

“The Solanos are exactly the type of developers we are looking for”, says Dr. Ben Litalien, Chief Development Officer, “They truly believe in the benefits an indoor pickleball court can offer the community in promoting mental wellness and an active lifestyle year-round. We are excited to support them as they build something special for the Northern Virginia region and their family.”

"Dill Dinkers originated from our love for the sport and the enriching community it has fostered," explained Will Richards, Co-Founder and CEO. "We are excited to welcome operators who are as dedicated and passionate as the Solano family. Their commitment to spreading the joy of pickleball aligns seamlessly with our vision. We look forward to witnessing how Richard and Andriana extend our name within their community."
