Dill Dinkers™ Signs First Four Leases with Franchisees

March 28, 2024 // Franchising.com // COLUMBIA, MD - Dill Dinkers has announced its first signed franchised leases with one location in South Carolina and Connecticut and two in Pennsylvania. Driving the expansion of the South Carolina and Connecticut locations are founding regional developers, The Pickleball Brothers LLC, led by Max Johnson who have committed to the development of 20 locations along the coast of South Carolina and Connecticut. The group has signed its franchise locations at Club #1007, 500 Bushy Hill Rd Simsbury, Connecticut 06070, and Club #1008, 95 Matthews Dr. Unit B in Hilton Head, South Carolina 29928.

Spearheading the Pennsylvania locations is regional developer Andrew Wakefield and his father, who have committed to developing 14 locations across Southeast Pennsylvania. The first Dill Dinkers locations they are developing to franchise are located in Montgomery County, at Club #1011, 1180 Church Road Lansdale, Pennsylvania 19446, and Club #1021, 330 S Warminster Road Hatboro, Pennsylvania.

“We are thrilled to be on our way to opening our first franchise locations in three new territories,” said Dr. Ben Litalien, Chief Development Officer.

In just a year since its inception in November of 2022 in Columbia, Maryland, Dill Dinkers has locations in Maryland and since the announcement of its franchise launch in September 2023, the brand has signed developers in Texas, Washington D.C., North Carolina, Connecticut, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Arizona, Western Maryland, Northern Virginia and Pennsylvania.

“We started Dill Dinkers because of our passion for the sport and the community it has provided us,” said Co-Founder and CEO Will Richards, alongside his wife Denise, Co-Founder, and COO, who brings his own franchise owner-operator experience to the table as a former Domino’s multi-unit franchisee.

Delivering a quality professional experience, each facility is equipped with a pro pickleball director and offers paddles, nets, and other high-quality products through its national brand partnership with JOOLA and ample indoor space for six to 12 courts. Owner-operators can also take advantage of the brand's partnership with Strategic Factory and its national partnership with pro athlete Collin Johns.
