(TSX:FGL), is excited to announce its Title Sponsorship for the 10th annual Mind Over Mountain Adventure Race (MOMAR) Series. The race events are held in British Columbia; the first in Squamish on May 23 and the second in Cumberland on September 26.
The MOMAR is open to new and experienced adventure racers alike and tests mental acuity and physical endurance. The fun and challenging courses will have racers trail run, mountain bike, kayak, rappel, bushwack and navigate their way through a series of checkpoints. MOMAR offers a long course (50km) and this year has created a new short course (30 km) that will provide less seasoned racers with an opportunity to participate in a world-class adventure race.
Coast Mountain Sports will provide an outdoor gear prize package for each race series, special offers for registrants and within racer packages, plus an outdoor grand prize package for MOMAR's big end of season contest. In addition, Coast Mountain Sports' outdoor enthusiast staff members will be assembling a few teams to participate in the races as Coast Mountain Sports team ambassadors.
To help prepare racers to gear up for this challenging adventure, Coast Mountain Sports has put together an exclusive Recommended Gear Guide that is available at MOMAR clinics, Coast Mountain Sports in British Columbia, Banff and Calgary stores, as well as on the MOMAR and Coast Mountain Sports websites.
