ALOHA stands for ABACUS Learning of Higher Arithmetic. The company was founded by Mr. Loh Mun Sung in 1993. He adapted and developed the method from China and Taiwan for the purpose of introducing it to the children of Malaysia. Aloha USA was initiated in January 2006 and has been expanding since.
