Roosters Men’s Grooming Center to Open in Farmington Hills

New store will provide personal grooming services for men and boys.

February 22, 2012 // Franchising.com // Farmington Hills, MI - Roosters Men’s Grooming Center (MGC), a rapidly growing national franchise, will open at 37619 W. Twelve Mile Road Farmington Hills, just west of Halsted Road. The public is invited to attend Roosters’ grand opening and official ribbon cutting from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 2, 2012.

Grace and Amir Shahnazary, residents of Michigan for more than 22 years, are owners of the new store.

"We chose to invest in Roosters because we were looking for a business that was totally different from our backgrounds,” said Amir Shahnazary, who previously worked as director of engineering in the automation industry. “I heard about Roosters from a friend in Nashville and then visited a store in Denver for grooming services. I felt an immediate connection to the business.”

Shahnazary shared that he also checked out the competition in the hair care industry, but there was nothing to compare.

Unlike other hair care franchises, Roosters MGC provides upscale, personal grooming services for men and boys, combined with an old fashioned barbershop experience.

Customers are invited to relax in oversized leather barber chairs and select from a variety of custom services including precision haircuts and shaves with hot steam towels, deep cleansing facial massages and moisturizing lotions. The Farmington Hills store is one of the first to exclusively introduce Aveda products for men.

Shahnazary also commented on his experience working with the city of Farmington Hills and the Greater Farmington Chamber of Commerce.

“They are very pro-business, and I’m very pleased with all the assistance they’ve given me and the Roosters’ team,” added Shahnazary.

The new barbershop has six stylists/barbers to start, including six barber stations and room to expand as the business grows. The Farmington Hills store becomes the fourth Roosters MGC located in Michigan with others in Davison, Lapeer and Oxford.
