Dallas Midas Shop Celebrates After Customer's 2007 Honda Fit Exceeds 500k Miles

Maintenance is key to getting the maximum mileage out of your vehicle.

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) June 05, 2013 - It’s not often a car hits 250k miles, let alone 500k, but Dallas resident Lori Duewell’s Honda Fit is proof that regular vehicle maintenance is key to hitting half a million miles.

“I have been in the automotive service field for over 35 years, 22 of them with Midas, and I can’t remember a time when I got to celebrate 500k miles on a customer’s vehicle,” said Wayne Earlston, manager of the E Northwest Hwy Midas. “I am honored to say that Lori’s been a customer of mine since 2002 which makes celebrating this milestone even more meaningful.” Earlston went on to say that virtually every maintenance and repair service on Lori’s car, since she bought it, was completed at Midas where they provide total car care.

“Automotive maintenance is not just about the cars, it’s about building relationships on trust and respect. It’s about working together to ensure their vehicle is operating efficiently,” said Mike Pace, Midas owner.

Pace is the owner of nine Midas service centers in Texas: five in Dallas and four in Austin. His shops provide total car care; everything from tires, brakes and batteries, to oil changes, air conditioning and an array of vehicle maintenance services by ASE Certified technicians.

With the average age of a vehicle on the road hitting 11 years and over 75k miles, it is imperative to follow the manufactures recommended service intervals to getting the maximum mileage and performance out of their vehicle.
