Roetzel Attorney Jack C. Morgan to Speak at Upcoming Conferences

July 22, 2014 // Franchising.com // Roetzel Partner Jack C. Morgan will speak at two conferences in the coming weeks, appearing on July 25, 2014 at the 28th Annual Environmental Permitting Summer School and on August 6 at the Annual Chemical Spill Certification School.

The Environmental Permitting Summer School takes place at the Marco Island Marriot from July 22 – 25, 2014 and is sponsored by Bureau Veritas Group. Mr. Morgan will discuss the legal pros and cons of accreditation as an ISO 1400 company. ISO standards have been designed to assist organizations worldwide in managing their environmental requirements and in ensuring that their environmental policies and practices conform with their missions and goals.

The Annual Chemical Spill Certification School takes place in Key West, Florida, and features discussions on a wide range of topics, as participants from agricultural and heavy industrial businesses from throughout Florida gather in order to earn certification in the handling of chemical spills. Mr. Morgan will address the attendees on OSHA administrative processes from citation through litigation to end of trial.

Mr. Morgan's extensive legal experience includes OSHA compliance litigation and matters involving state and federal administrative proceedings. He also focuses much of his practice on commercial and business litigation and has represented companies and individuals in matters involving real property litigation, construction litigation, toxic tort litigation, and insurance coverage.

Mr. Morgan earned his B.S. from Valdosta State University and his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law.
