Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Athena Learning Center Set for Tomorrow

Gina Riojas Follows in Family's Entrepreneurial Footsteps

Katy, Texas (PRWEB) July 31, 2014 - Business ownership is in her blood. Gina Riojas grew up with a father and grandfather who were both entrepreneurs, so the values of tenacity and determination were instilled in her from a young age. Now, she’s following in her family’s footsteps by opening an Athena Learning Center franchise.

"I couldn’t be happier," Riojas said of her choice to become an entrepreneur. "I know myself to be a hard worker and a strong organizer. This opportunity fit right into what I knew to be right."

Athena Learning Centers offer after-school tutoring services to K–12 students to help them succeed in school, prepare for exams and equip them with the skills they need to work in the 21st century. Being an entrepreneur offers Riojas the freedom to spend time with her own children. "I indulge myself in my children and in doing everything they like to do," she said. "[The best part of business ownership is] being able to bring a valuable service to [my] community … and facilitating a work schedule that allows me my own time to spend with my family."

The ribbon-cutting ceremony for Athena Learning Center of Katy-Cinco Ranch, located at 24210 Westheimer Parkway, Suite 900, is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 1, at 9 a.m. Refreshments will be served and gift certificates for free assessments will be given to all attendees.
