The Junkluggers expanded into new markets including Baltimore, Boston, Charlotte, Kansas City, Philadelphia, and Raleigh-Durham. The company plans to open as many as 15 locations in 2017, specifically targeting prospects in Massachusetts, California, Texas, Illinois, Colorado, Florida, and Virginia.

This rapid expansion allowed Junkluggers to complete over 16,000 jobs that resulted in over 32 million pounds of junk removed system-wide. The company also recycled or donated over 19 million pounds of unwanted items to various local charities and organizations. Junkluggers currently has more than 130 employees that operate 46 trucks.

The Junkluggers provides an environmentally-friendly alternative, saving millions of pounds of junk from landfills each year by donating on average 70% of the items they remove to local charities and recycling centers. When an item is donated on a customer’s behalf, Junkluggers will provide a tax-deductible receipt within 14 business days.
