New Zaxby's Introduces East Texas to “Flavor-Full” Chicken

February 13, 2024 // Franchising.com // ATHENS, Ga. - Today, Zaxby's® makes its debut in East Texas with the opening of its first location in Longview at 3405 N. Fourth St. The new Zaxby's, owned and operated by JA’s Coop, LLC, will be open for both drive-thru and dine-in.

At the restaurant has a dining room that seats up to 36 guests and features the classic Zaxby’s white farmhouse-style design - a look that’s still rare in Texas. Equipped with a double drive-thru layout, complete with Zaxby's new digital menu boards, the new location aims to streamline payment and pickup process for guests who are seeking expedited service.

Zaxby's serves fresh, prepared-at-order Chicken Fingerz™ and wings tossed in a variety of bold and spicy sauces. Most recently, Zaxby’s brought back its fan-favorite Asian Zensation Zalad™ and hand-rolled Egg Rolls for a limited time only.* The flavorful Zalad features Zaxby’s famous fried Chicken Fingerz or grilled chicken on freshly tossed mixed greens, red cabbage, carrots and crispy wonton strips, topped with Asian slaw and drizzled with a honey sesame Teriyaki glaze starting at $9.95. The Asian Zensation Zalad is served with citrus vinaigrette dressing plus Zaxby's hand-rolled Veggie Egg Roll. Zaxby's customers can also get two Egg Rolls as a stand-alone side for just $3.00.

The new Zaxby's will be the first owned by Austin and Chelsea Barber of JA’s Coop, LLC. The franchise contracted locally-based Hayes Engineering, Ledbetter Plumbing Company and Longview Roofing for construction.
