Kidzart Chooses Five Students As Featured Youth Artists In Honor Of Youth Art Month
March 18, 2009 // Franchising.com // (New Braunfels, TX) –KidzArt, an international children's art enrichment franchise company, announced its 2009 Featured Youth Artists in honor of National Youth Art Month. The following five children were chosen from kids around the nation based on creativity, age of student, mastery of art materials and use of color and design in their artwork:
- Caroline Cavanaugh, age 9, of Massachusetts
- Lydia Zabroske, age 9, of Maryland
- Sherry Lee, age 7, of Alabama
- Jessie Smith, age 9, of Michigan
- Libby Waddell, age 11, of Pennsylvania
"In celebration of Youth Art Month, KidzArt is proud to showcase the creativity of our amazing child artists," said Shell Herman, CEO of KidzArt. "All of the students' artwork is truly remarkable."
As a Featured Artist, each student's artwork will be displayed on the KidzArt online art gallery and featured in the 2010 KidzArt printed calendar. Each child will also received a certificate of achievement from KidzArt.
KidzArt's Featured Artists are a reminder to students, parents, teachers, and school administrators that creativity is important to every child's education. In celebration of March's Youth Art Month, KidzArt is proud to emphasize the value of art education for all children and to encourage support for quality school art programs.
