As part of this partnership, Bark Busters' nationwide network of Dog Behavioral Therapists will provide new Bark Busters clients with a six-month free membership to The Pet Protector System for all of their pets. Following the free membership period, a portion of all annual membership renewal fees will be donated to charities that help pets in need.
All new Bark Busters clients will receive a custom Pet Protector ID Tag, complete with a toll-free phone number and a unique identification number assigned to each pet. If a family pet becomes lost or needs help of any kind, the person who finds the pet can call the toll-free number on The Pet Protector Tag and reach a live operator ready to help the pet in any emergency -- 24 hours a day, anywhere in the U.S. and Canada.
Using the emergency contact information provided by the pet parent, the 1-800-HELP-4-PETS staff will track down the pet parent or their alternate contacts. If the pet is found injured and no one is reachable, the 1-800-HELP-4-PETS staff can give the caller directions to the nearest vet and authorize emergency medical treatment, oftentimes saving the pet's life.
