Company History
Shine Window Care was a business founded by Chris Fisher and his wife Michelle in 1998. Chris learned team building through sports. He learned how to win and how to lose. He learned the importance of attention to detail, team first, preparation, hard work, sacrifice, setting goals, and planning to win. Chris was both the captain of a state championship team in High School and captain of his college basketball team.
Chris's wife became pregnant and Chris knew he had to find a way to earn some money to provide. He decided the decision would be between a corporate career in sales or starting his own small business. Chris chose to start a small business washing windows shortly after college. He knocked on doors and booked his first few jobs in which he needed his wife's help in order to complete these jobs. From the start he experienced the ups and downs of getting a business off the ground having to learn everything through trial and error. He began with his "corporate office" in a third story apartment with a computer rebuilt by a friend. He was guy and a bucket, without insurance. He saw a need in the industry and had a vision. He named his company Golden Eagle Window Cleaning.
Through several years of building Golden Eagle Window Cleaning and hiring employees, he saw the need to be different, to be better. By 2006, Chris had several employees in the field cleaning windows. He felt there was something else out there. Something to keep Golden Eagle staff employeed in the winter. That same year Golden Eagle began installing Christmas Lights. Golden Eagle turned into a Shine Window Cleaning and Shine Holiday Lighting. The company was renamed to Shine to double as a window cleaning company and a holiday lighting company. The company became structured with a General Manager, Office Manager, Sales Manager, Crew Leaders and Technicians. Shine made it it's mission to do things the right way, while making their clients happy. Chris wanted others to see his window cleaning company differently than others.
