Rock Strategic LLC is doubling down on Hawaiian Bros Island Grill in Nevada, signing a six-unit development agreement to grow the brand's presence in South Las Vegas.
Led by Chris Aslam, the franchise group currently operates one Hawaiian Bros restaurant in North Las Vegas with additional units in development in the region. Rock Strategic also operates four Hawaiian Bros locations in the greater San Antonio, Texas, area and franchises more than 70 quick-service restaurants across complementary brands.
"The response our Hawaiian Bros restaurants have generated from guests in San Antonio and North Las Vegas is strong, and we are thrilled to keep that momentum going as we expand into the South Las Vegas market," Aslam said. "From the craveable menu to the warm and welcoming atmosphere, the concept continues to stand out in the fast-casual space. With this new agreement, we're eager to continue sharing the Aloha Spirit with even more communities."
Rock Strategic opened its first Hawaiian Bros restaurant in the Las Vegas area in 2025. The group cited consistent unit performance in both Las Vegas and San Antonio as drivers behind the additional investment in the market.
"Chris and the Rock Strategic team are the ideal multi-unit franchisees to spearhead our growth in existing and new markets," said Carey Malloy, chief development officer at Hawaiian Bros. "The group has proven its operational excellence and know-how in building strong teams, resulting in high-performing restaurants and loyal guests. This continued expansion in the Las Vegas area supports our overarching strategy to scale Hawaiian Bros in key regions across the country."
