Julie Hagovsky will open a new MilkShake Factory location in Florham Park, New Jersey, on March 21, bringing the dessert concept to Morris County as she begins building a multi-unit presence with the brand.
The new store at 187 Columbia Turnpike will mark Hagovsky's first location, and two additional MilkShake Factory stores are already in development.
"I was immediately drawn to MilkShake Factory because of its family roots and the sense of tradition behind the brand," Hagovsky said. "That legacy really resonated with me. Family is at the center of everything I do, and bringing a concept like this to Florham Park and the surrounding communities feels especially meaningful."
She said the brand's desserts also helped seal the decision to franchise.
"As a family that loves dessert, we immediately recognized the quality and care behind everything MilkShake Factory offers," she said.
Hagovsky said Florham Park's community feel made it a natural location for the concept.
"There really hasn't been a dedicated dessert destination like this in Florham Park for a long time," Hagovsky said. "We're excited to create a modern, clean and welcoming space that reflects the community's family-oriented spirit and gives people a place to stop in, enjoy something sweet, and spend time together."
