Nilesh Patel continues to grow his Buffalo Wild Wings footprint in the Chicago market with the opening of a new Go-format location in Lake Zurich.
The restaurant opened April 2 at 840 W. State Route 22 and is operated by Patel's Zurich Wings LLC. With the addition, Patel now operates seven Buffalo Wild Wings locations across the region, expanding his presence through the brand's off-premise-focused concept.
Buffalo Wild Wings Go is built around speed and convenience, offering a streamlined, takeout-first version of the traditional sports bar model. The format focuses on digital ordering and quick pickup.
"As guest habits continue to shift toward convenience and digital ordering, this location allows us to meet that demand while maintaining the delicious food and consistency people expect from the brand," Patel said. "Lake Zurich is a vibrant, growing community, and this format allows us to serve guests efficiently while still being part of their everyday routines, whether that's a speedy dinner pickup or catering for your crew."
The Go concept centers on the brand's core menu items, including traditional and boneless wings, chicken dippers, sandwiches, wraps, and shareable sides, paired with its signature sauces and dry rubs. Without dine-in service, the format emphasizes order-ahead convenience for weeknight meals, group gatherings, and game-day occasions.
For Patel, the opening represents both continued market expansion and alignment with shifting consumer behavior. The smaller-format model allows operators to grow within existing territories while adapting to demand for faster, digitally driven service.
