Call for Entries: Multi-Unit Franchisee Magazine MVP Awards

Most Valuable Players in Franchising - Recognizing Franchisee Talent, Performance, and Excellence

SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 10, 2010 - Multi-Unit Franchisee Magazine today announced the call for entries for the first annual Multi-Unit Franchisee MVP (Most Valuable Player) Awards to recognize exceptional multi-unit franchisees. The deadline for entry is Feb. 26th . Winners will be announced on March 25th at the Multi-Unit Franchising Conference in Las Vegas. Franchise Update Media Group (FUMG), the leading industry resource for franchise development, is the publisher of the magazine and the conference organizer.

"We established this award to highlight the fact that multi-unit franchising is thriving, despite the tough economy, and to honor those who continue to grow their systems and strengthen their brands," said Therese Thilgen, president of FUMG. Multi-Unit Franchisee MVP Awards will be presented in each of the following categories, based on demonstrated outstanding performance:

In addition to a Multi-Unit Franchisee MVP Trophy, winners will also receive national and industry recognition, an exclusive profile in Multi-Unit Franchisee Magazine, a feature on mufranchisee.com, and other special announcements and press releases.

To qualify for entry, multi-unit franchisees must have at least five operating units, and have been in a franchise system for a minimum of two years. Multi-unit franchisees can nominate themselves or fellow multi-unit franchisees. Franchisors can nominate outstanding multi-unit franchisee performers in their systems.
