Murfreesboro, Tennessee is getting its first taste of fast-casual brand Grandy’s, courtesy of multi-unit operator Chris Benner.
Benner’s Trident Holdings, LLC, has been a multi-unit operator with Grandy’s sister brand Captain D’s since 2015. He’s become the largest multi-unit operator for the brand and now operates nearly 40 Captain D’s restaurants across nine states in the Southeast. He’s scheduled to open his newest Captain D’s location next month.
Building on his success with Captain D’s, Benner has signed on with Grandy’s and plans to grow his portfolio with the brand. He’ll follow up on the heels of his Murfreesboro Grandy’s, by opening another location in McMinnville, Tennessee later this year.
“Grandy’s has been a beloved brand with a loyal customer base for almost 50 years, and its longstanding reputation for offering quality, Southern-inspired favorites in a warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately caught my attention. I love that the brand’s rotating menu allows us to serve guests for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and creates a different experience for them with each visit,” said Benner. “As a Murfreesboro resident, I am thrilled to bring the first Grandy’s to the community and share its homestyle comfort food with my family, friends, and neighbors.”
Grandy’s is a Southern-inspired fast-casual restaurant. The brand is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee and has 28 restaurants in seven states.
