Chairwoman Foxx To Keynote at CFA Day Forum

The Coalition of Franchisee Associations (CFA) has announced that U.S. Congresswoman Virginia Foxx will keynote the organization's CFA Day Forum in Washington D.C. on March 15.

Foxx represents North Carolina's 5th congressional district and is the new chair of the House Committee on Education and the Workforce, the committee that handles issues such as Obamacare, paid sick leave, minimum wage, joint employer and labor regulations. Chairwoman Foxx will speak during the CFA Legislative Luncheon on Capitol Hill in the Rayburn House Office Building.

Franchise attorneys will be on hand during the event to address a number of issues at a roundtable that will include attorneys Justin Klein, Robert Zarco, Ron Gardner, and Michael Einbinder. The meeting will be held at the Capitol Hill Hotel.

Once again, franchisees, industry attorneys, and suppliers will gather in the nation's Capitol to walk the halls of Congress and meet with congressional representatives in an effort to inform and educate them about franchising and small business. A Congressional reception will close out this year's CFA Day Forum.

The annual CFA Day Forum was established for franchisees from across the U.S. to meet once a year to learn more about legislative issues, advocate before members of Congress, network with other franchisees, and glean information from franchise attorneys.
