Edible Multi-Unit Franchisee Opens Ghost Kitchen Location

Jeffrey Zhang is a multi-unit Edible operator with locations throughout Northern California. Now he’s opened the brand’s second ghost kitchen location, which is the first on the West Coast. Zhang’s new delivery-only facility will be key in aiding surrounding stores and expanding their reach in the San Jose region.

“As a longtime operator with Edible, this new design stuck out to me as delivery orders have been on a steady climb to start the year,” said Zhang. “A facility supporting that aspect of our business takes our product reach to greater heights and allows us to expand the number of zip codes we serve. As I continue to see our customer-base and product offerings expand, I’m eager to continue growing with the brand. Following the launch of our ghost kitchen, I see a bright future for myself and Edible as I eventually would like to open even more stores in the areas this new site will support.”

Edible debuted its first ghost kitchen facility design earlier this year in Georgia. It provides surrounding stores with delivery and shipping support and experienced triple digit sales in its first week of business.

Zhang owns five Edible stores in Northern California including Sunnyvale, Brentwood, Pleasanton, Walnut Creek, and Redwood City and says he plans to open more.
