Longtime Montgomery, Alabama-based multi-unit operator Patrick Sidhu has signed a new deal to add 20 Qdoba Mexican Eats locations to a portfolio already boasting more than 200 restaurants including Burger King and Popeyes.
The new deal with Qdoba will see Sidhu bring the Mexican fast-casual brand to markets in and around Atlanta and across Alabama. His newly formed Premier Queso Kings, LLC is set to open its first Qdoba restaurant in Atlanta later this year or early 2020.
“Qdoba is unquestionably a leader in the fast-casual restaurant space, with the combination of flavorful food and inviting atmosphere,” said Sidhu. “Along with an attractive value proposition that stands above so many other category players, QDOBA’s holistic leadership team - across franchising, operations, and marketing - is clearly one of the many reasons the brand continues to outpace the category when it comes to traffic, sales and guest loyalty.”
Sidhu created his Premier Kings company in 2010, first growing with the Burger King brand where he has been named Franchisee of the Year, and Southeast Operator of the Year multiple times.
Qdoba Mexican Eats is a leading fast-casual Mexican chain with more than 750 restaurants located across the United States and in Canada.
