Multi-Unit Franchising Conference Returns

Following two years of cancellations and rescheduling brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, multi-unit operators, franchisors, and suppliers reunited at Caesars Palace for the annual Multi-Unit Franchising Conference, August 31 – September 3.

There was a fresh buzz at the conference as education, networking, and a packed exhibit hall were open for business again. Attendees looked to gain insights for their operations, rekindle friendships, build new ones, and uncover valuable takeaways for their businesses.

This year’s conference numbers were strong. A new conference attendee record was set as more than 1,800 attended the signature event. That included more than 670 multi-unit franchisees, operating more than 12,000 units, with more than $11 billion in systemwide sales, and projected to open 3,700 stores in the next 12 months.

Keynote addresses were given by Ben Nemtin, co-author of the book What Do You Want To Do Before You Die?, a New York Times Best Seller, and Captain Scott Kelly, the US Navy fighter pilot and NASA astronaut credited with being the first person to spend an entire year in space.

Franchisees had the opportunity to attend educational sessions, network with other franchisees, and visit with brands and vendors in the sold-out exhibit hall.

The 2022 Multi-Unit Franchising Conference will be moving to the new Caesars Forum in Las Vegas on March 29-April 1.
