Reis & Irvy's Robotic Frozen Dessert Kiosks To Expand in the MENA Region

Several Middle Eastern and North African countries will soon experience the pleasure of Reis & Irvy's fully automated robotic frozen dessert vending kiosks. Under a new agreement, the company will expand its footprint into Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain.

Launched in early 2016, the company's vending machines serve 7 different flavors of frozen yogurt, ice cream, sorbets, and gelatos, with a choice of up to 6 custom toppings - all within 60 seconds or less at the point of sale. The brand's biggest selling points are that its unattended kiosks eliminate the need for costly rent and labor, significantly reduce food safety concerns, and are capable of operating 24 hours a day.

Reis & Irvy's has partnered with World Franchise Associates (WFA) to spread the frozen goodness across the region. Under the agreement, WFA will offer consultancy services, marketing and promotion, and assist in selling territories to potential master franchisees in each country.

"We are thrilled to partner with World Franchise Associates and look forward to rapid growth in the MENA region," said Nick Yates, chairman of parent company Generation Next Franchise Brands. "WFA's experience and reputation in successfully launching franchise brands in these countries will help us bring Reis & Irvy's desserts to millions of new consumers in an ideal weather climate year-round."

"We're excited about the opportunities and enormous potential across MENA for both WFA and Reis & Irvy's," said Paul Cairnie, CEO of WFA. "We're confident that the combination of such a unique technology and business model and our regional expertise will result in exceptional growth for the brand."
