South Carolina Franchisee Bringing Bojangles' to Florida

Bojangles has been signing a lot of expansion deals as the brand looks for top franchisees with growth on their minds. The brand has recently signed development deals with franchisees in Jacksonville, Panama City, and Tallahassee. But Bo Benton, Inc., a franchise group with 11 Bojangles' locations in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is really rolling down the Florida corridor. Last year, the group began developing Florida's I-75 corridor, from Lake City to Gainesville and Ocala. They're now bringing Bojangles' to the greater Daytona Beach area, which is a new market for the brand.

"For nearly 15 years, our franchise group has proudly operated Bojangles' locations in the Myrtle Beach area," said Alan Chestnut, operations partner of Bo Benton, Inc. "We thoroughly believe in the power of the brand, the high-quality food, and commitment to growth in new markets."

Over the last several years, Chestnut said they have had serious interest in growing their Bojangles' business beyond the Myrtle Beach and Grand Strand areas.

"After completing our due diligence on the Gainesville and Daytona Beach markets, we felt a great connection to these wonderful communities. Folks here have a strong affinity for Bojangles' and our unique, one-of-a-kind menu items, so we're excited to bring our delicious chicken, made-from-scratch biscuits, and all day breakfast to Bojangles' fanatics in Florida. Our group is thrilled to lead the company's expansion efforts in the Gainesville and Daytona Beach areas," said Chestnut.

Bojangles' expansion in Florida also includes multiple restaurants planned for the Mobile/Pensacola area, another new market for the brand.

"Each of these development agreements align perfectly with our brand's strategy for franchisees to lead expansion into new and adjacent markets," said Randy Icard, Bojangles' vice president of franchise development. "These existing and new franchise organizations share our commitment to growing our brand the right way, providing great tasting, freshly-made food at an exceptional value to thousands of Bojangles' fans across this region.
