Menomonee Falls, WI – Cousins Subs recently announced its newest area developer, Mark Beierle, for the southeastern Wis. and Rockford, Ill. area. Beierle plans to open his first store in Kenosha, Wis. this August.
"Mark's restaurant experience and ambition will be a terrific addition to our area developer team," said John Campbell, vice president of global development and chief development officer for Cousins Subs. "We are excited about his decision to join Cousins and look forward to supporting his developments."
Beierle's development goals include opening 30 sub shops in the next 10 years. Inspired by Don Morello, area developer for Cousins in Dane County, Wisconsin, who is known for his rapid developments, he hopes to open 10 of those stores in the next five years alone. Beierle feels the Rockford market will be very receptive to the Cousins' brand.
"I chose to join Cousin Subs' franchise team because the company is very aggressive with their growth goals," explains Beierle. "Our energy levels match, and they allow me to accomplish an aggressive task like opening 30 stores."
Before joining Cousins, Beierle was the owner/operator of Culver's Restaurant located in the Midwest for seven years. He holds a bachelor's degree in history from Concordia University located in Mequon, Wis.

About Cousins Subs
Cousins Subs is based in Milwaukee, Wis., and is a national sub sandwich chain with stores throughout the Midwest and on the West Coast. The tradition of Cousins Subs started in 1972, when two transplanted cousins from Atlantic City saw the need for an East coast–style sub shop in their new hometown. They patterned their subs after the hoagie, grinder, hero and sub sandwiches they enjoyed back East. And with a dedication to delivering quality subs at fair prices, they opened their first restaurant. From the start, the two used bread baked fresh every morning and insisted on using only the finest, freshest ingredients.
Wisconsin-based Cousins Subs® is driven by the mission to Believe in Better, both in the quality of food it serves and in the communities it supports.
