Roni Deutch Tax Center Nominates VP of Operations for Coveted IRS Committee

Tax Preparation Services Expert Glen Wielandt Puts Focus on Establishing New Franchise's Branding

Sacramento, CA – Roni Deutch, founder of the largest Tax Resolution Law Firm in the United States, has nominated Glen Wielandt, a top tax services industry professional and vice-president of operations of the Roni Deutch Tax Center franchise, to serve on the IRS's Information Reporting Program Advisory Committee (IRPAC).

"I am very excited to be nominated to serve on a great committee, especially since the committee is comprised of some of the most prestigious individuals in the tax industry," Wielandt said. "With my industry experience, I know I could make a positive impact by contributing my insight to improve the information reporting program at the IRS. I appreciate the faith and thoughtfulness of Roni Deutch in nominating me for this highly visible position for the next three years."

Wielandt was brought onto the Roni Deutch Tax Center franchise team to develop and maintain operations for the newly franchised Roni Deutch Tax Center franchise. If selected, Wielandt will advise the IRS on information reporting issues of mutual concern to the private sector and federal government. Committee members work with the Operating Division Commissioners and other IRS executives to provide information and recommendations on a range of issues regarding IRP administration, through a final report. The IRPAC is composed of 23 members who represent various segments of the IRP community.

"With his extensive background and professional history, Glen strengthens the franchise, and this nomination will only further establish him as an important member of our team," said Roni Deutch, founder and CEO of the Roni Deutch Tax Center. "Glen has worked for some of the top recognized names in tax services as both a franchisee and a corporate franchisor executive, so he has seen both sides of the franchising spectrum, and will provide great insight to the committee if selected."

As vice-president of operations, Wielandt is responsible for implementing new training programs both internally and throughout the system. Wielandt also oversees all rules and regulations regarding state laws, certificates, preparers, suppliers, and vendors, while focusing on hiring a field support staff and branding throughout the franchise system.

A veteran in the income tax services industry, Wielandt has more than 20 years of operational experience in the tax center franchise industry. Wielandt first pursued his interest in tax services while working as a VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Officer) officer in the United States Army. He also worked in various capacities for the H&R Block Company for many years, and owned and operated a Jackson-Hewitt franchise for nine years. In 2001, he started working for Liberty Tax Service as a consultant and ultimately became a Regional Director in charge of the western nineteen states, and in 2006, he started his own business called FranSuccess, a company that helped sell franchises and coached prospective franchisees through a concept selection.
