May 07, 2008 // Franchising.com // - Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection, has announced that its Chelmsford franchisee, Paul Davis has just doubled the size of his business with the acquisition of the neighbouring Colchester territory.
"Our greeting card distribution franchises have always been particularly popular," confirms Robina Every, managing director of Card Connection. "However, we are seeing a growing trend where our existing franchisees are snapping up neighbouring territories if they become available. This allows franchisees to expand their businesses very rapidly – taking advantage of what is effectively a recession-proof industry."
