Hunter offers advice to help local residents combat mold spores that can breed in HVAC systems. "The most important thing is to keep everything clean and dry," Hunter said. "Mold thrives in damp and warm places, so decrease the humidity in your home by using a dehumidifier. Other steps include making sure there is proper ventilation in your home and seeing that air is circulating properly throughout each of the rooms."
