March 25, 2010 // Franchising.com // In the month of March, Expansion Magazine published the results of its assessment of the 25 Best Franchises in Mexico.
To qualify for the 25 Best Franchises, judges had to take into account growth, positioning, profitability and competitive advantages of the brand, and considered the views of the main franchise consultants.
The method used to obtain results were based mainly on selecting the 50 franchises that proved the fastest and largest growth in the past three years in terms of net open units and changes in average investment. Brands were selected based on the average of all requirements.
A second consideration was checking the number of units that have been generated since its founding. Also, they evaluated information provided by the franchisor, on the competitive advantages of brand positioning, certifications and industry awards, as well as information about the support that the franchisor grants its franchisees.
Expansion Magazine conducted telephone surveys of franchisees, where they were questioned about the care provided by the franchise in terms of training, support manuals, technical assistance, updates on the operation and its application in business.
The invitation was more than 700 marks, of which 141 respondents and entered the selection process.
