The Baymont Inn & Suites hotel brand wants you to shout it from the rooftops, or maybe just your computer, with its "I Heart My Hometown" sweepstakes and contest, through which nine lucky winners will receive a vacation prize pack and one grand prize winner will receive $1,000.

Through July 31, consumers can enter by visiting www.iheartmyhometown.com and writing a short essay of 100 words or less on what makes their hometown so special for a chance to win the $1,000 grand prize. They can also enter the sweepstakes, through which each week, a different entrant will win a Baymont Inn & Suites hometown prize pack, consisting of a complimentary three-night stay at any Baymont Inn & Suites hotel, a $250 VISA gift card and a Nikon Coolpix S4000 digital camera.
