MIAMI (BUSINESS WIRE) - Benihana Inc. (NASDAQ: BNHNA; BNHN), operator of the nation's largest chain of Japanese theme and sushi restaurants, today announced that it has rescheduled the date for its upcoming Annual Meeting of Stockholders.
The Company's Annual Meeting of Stockholders will now be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 10:30 am at The Westin Fort Lauderdale, 400 Corporate Drive, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33334. The Company had previously scheduled the Annual Meeting of Stockholders to be held on September 14, 2010. The record date for stockholders eligible to vote at the Annual Meeting of Stockholders will remain August 10, 2010.
A Definitive Proxy Statement is expected to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on September 8, 2010 and will be available on the Company's website under the investor relations section.
