October 05, 2010 // Franchising.com // LONDON — Wyndham Hotel Group (NYSE: WYN), the world's largest hotel company with nearly 7,200 hotels, today announced the continued expansion of its Days Inn® brand with the opening of 15 roadside hotels owned by motorway services provider Roadchef.
The agreement increases the size of the Days Inn portfolio in the U.K. by more than 35 percent, bringing its total number of hotels in the country to nearly 60.

The Days Inn brand entered the U.K. market in 2000 with its flagship property in Waterloo, London and currently has a global hotel portfolio of nearly 1,860 hotels and approximately 148,460 rooms in 14 countries. Measured by rooms, it is the world's largest budget hotel brand.
The new Days Inn hotel locations are: Days Inn Lockerbie (Annandale Water), Days Inn Sevenoaks (Clacket Lane), Days Inn Chester, Days Inn Durham, Days Inn Hamilton, Days Inn Kendal (Killington Lake), Days Inn Maidstone, Days Inn Cannock (Norton Canes M6 Toll), Days Inn Southampton (Rownhams), Days Inn Stafford, Days Inn Tewkesbury (Strensham), Days Inn Taunton, Days Inn Chesterfield (Tibshelf), Days Inn Watford Gap and Days Inn Winchester.
