Gap Inc. Invites Media to Film in Stores to Capture Frenzy of Shoppers in Action

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Continuing the tradition of giving shoppers a jump start on their holiday shopping, Gap Inc. today updated its list of Thanksgiving and Black Friday promotions for its five brands – Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime and Athleta – as well as its Gap Outlet and Banana Republic Factory stores.

Members of the media are invited to join the shopping craze and film in stores this weekend. For the third year in a row, the company will open almost 1,000 stores this Thanksgiving holiday, including over 800 Old Navy stores nationwide.

Brand and store leaders will be made available to discuss new promotions, traffic-driving strategies, and most importantly, how stores will be competing this holiday on what matters the most to customers – distinctive product offerings, great deals, and a fun shopping environment.
