IFA Honors Abrakadoodle President Rosemarie Hartnett With Crystal Compass

February 13, 2012 // Franchising.com // ORLANDO - Rosemarie Hartnett, CFE, president of Abrakadoodle Inc., was named by the International Franchise Association's Women's Franchise Committee (WFC) to receive the Crystal Compass for outstanding leadership, during the association's 52ndAnnual Convention.

Hartnett is the co-founder of Abrakadoodle, the largest U.S.-based franchisor providing children's art education services. Hartnett oversees all of Abrakadoodle's operations, franchise support, sales, growth initiatives and training services worldwide. She launched the franchise into China and Japan in 2011, has empowered women through mentoring them and promoted franchising as an authoritative speaker, making her the deserving recipient of the Crystal Compass.

Hartnett is a member of the Institute of Certified Franchise Executives Board of Governors and is a well-known advocate for women in franchising. She has been a member of the IFA Women's Franchise Committee since 2004 and currently co-chairs the Women's Franchise Network in the Washington, D.C. area through IFA's WFC.

An individual within the franchising community who epitomizes the ideals of leadership is selected each year to receive the Crystal Compass. Individuals chosen for this honor have made significant contributions within their respective franchise organizations, the franchising community in general and in their local communities.
