FranNet of Virginia is hosting its third biannual Capital Area Franchise Fair to help prospective entrepreneurs explore a variety of franchise options, understand the franchise model, and make informed decisions that will help them achieve their business and personal goals. FranNet of Virginia is a franchise matchmaking service in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC that regularly provides franchise education seminars to aspiring entrepreneurs through SCORE and the Virginia Small Business Development Centers; local, Federal, and State government agencies; and local military bases.

When:

May 15, 2012, 12:30pm- 5:00pm

Where:

The Tower Club
8000 Towers Crescent Drive, Suite 1700
Vienna, VA

Why:

FranNet of Virginia—in partnership with SCORE and Community Business Partnership—is sponsoring a series of workshops and a Resource Fair to educate aspiring entrepreneurs about some of the non-conventional options in franchising. Most people equate franchise with “fast food;” but franchises are available in over 90 different industries, many of which require fewer hours and far less start-up funds while generating greater profits than food businesses. The Capital Area Franchise Fair will help attendees explore different options and learn about navigating the franchise research and ownership process.
