July 23, 2012 // Franchising.com // Starkville, MS – Beef 'O' Brady's announced today the signing of its newest teammate, Cincinnati Bengals tight end and Super Bowl ring holder, Donald Lee. Lee, a native of Maben, MS and former standout football player for the Mississippi State Bulldogs, will open a new Beef O Brady’s 2.0 prototype restaurant in November 2012 at 1205 Stark Road in Starkville, MS.
“While football has always been my first love, I’ve been interested in entrepreneurship as long as I can remember,” said Lee. “Beef’s is all about great food, sports and getting involved in the community. When I learned that Beef’s was searching for franchisees to help grow the brand near my hometown, I came running.”
Lee, who was a four-year letterman in college, has no intentions of standing on the sidelines during his new business venture with Beef 'O' Brady's, and will play a larger role in the restaurant’s day-to-day operations once his NFL career is complete.

The Starkville restaurant will be the new Beef’s 2.0 prototype which includes new color and design elements, large screen TVs, complemented by smaller screens for viewing from anywhere in the restaurant. It will also have an expanded bar, interactive video games for children and a menu offering a wide variety of popular appetizers including the “Whole Lotta Steak’ fresh Angus Steak nachos and quesadilla, fresh Angus Burgers, award winning chicken wings, scrumptious entrees including the “Whole Lotta Steak fajitas, salads, an awesome variety of great sandwiches, mix-and-match desserts and New Coke Free Style featuring over 100 beverage brands.
Coming on the heels of the Starkville signing, the company is targeting several domestic and international markets for future development of the brand. Beef 'O' Brady's expects to open between 15 and 20 new locations this year, all of which will include elements of the new prototype.
